YouTube Influencer Known for Drag Race Videos Dies in Car Crash

Andre Beadle, a YouTube influencer known for sharing videos of street drag races, died in a car crash this week.
In a statement obtained by Newsweek, the New York Police Department said that 25-year-old Beadle was involved in a “vehicle collision on the Nassau Expressway, within the confines of the 113th Precinct,” shortly after 1:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday.
“Further investigation by the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad determined a 2023 BMW sedan, operated by a 25-year-old male, was traveling eastbound on the Nassau Expressway in the left lane at a high rate of speed,” the NYPD said.
According to the NYPD, Beadle “lost control” of his vehicle and as he veered to the right, he caused the vehicle to drive onto the right shoulder, striking a pole.
“This caused the vehicle to veer back across the eastbound lanes to the left shoulder, ejecting the operator from the vehicle. EMS responded and transported the 25-year-old male to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased,” police said.
The NYPD said that their Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad is actively investigating the incident.
Who Was Andre Beadle?
Beadle, a Bronx resident known to his followers as 1Stockf30, had built a substantial social media presence with 240,000 followers on Instagram and 59,000 subscribers on YouTube. He regularly shared videos of himself racing his signature purple BMW M240 on New York City streets and at a racetrack in Pennsylvania.
In one nighttime video, a group of men is shown shutting down traffic on a city highway, pouring a slick substance onto the roadway to prep the surface for a race.
On Instagram, Beadle shared numerous videos of his vehicle, including one last week showing how quickly he drove.
“It’s just a bmw,” Beadle wrote as a caption to the video.
In his most recent video on YouTube, Beadle is seen working on his BMW and then later racing down a street in New York.
Following the news of his death, Beadle’s family shared a post on Instagram announcing a “balloon release” in memory.
“Bring some balloons and come celebrate life with the young legend and trendsetter #1stockf30,” the caption of the post said.
Social media has been flooded with tributes in the wake of Beadle’s passing.
“Rest easy,” wrote one Instagram user. “You did great things for the street and drag racing scene. Forever a legend.”
However, other people were quick to point out that Beadle’s approach to safety may have been inadequate, sparking debates online.
